REturn of the Jetta

This ‘99 MK3 Jetta, first the motor was removed from the vehicle to begin the process of bringing out the inner monster. Removing headers, nuts and bolts and stripping the block to bare metal, for the tear down stage. Mating surfaces were taped in preparation for the first coat, VHT primer. The color of choice after the priming was Orange, a favorite of Brandon’s. While the paint was drying, why not add a custom intake, fuel system with larger injectors.

To keep with the spirit of the shop there had to be a few modifications. The Jetta was given a 67 76 Trim Turbo and custom 3 in stainless steel exhaust with a 270 degree bend and notch body side exit, to boost performance. Fabricated in shop, the exhaust was created for optimize flow while keeping it confined within the space allotted under the vehicle.
